Our Legacy

A family-owned, family-operated local business founded by the late Jackie Furr.

In 1966, Jackie Furr initially opened a landscaping business with himself as the sole employee, a backhoe and a dump truck. As he continued to operate the business, he was able to expand in 1970. That year, Furr added paving and grading to his services, and the business was rebranded as Furr Grading and Paving. He was also the owner of the only asphalt plant in the surrounding area at the time and would be for many years.
